Family: Jordon and Ember have been married since April of 2017. They had their first baby girl, Zion, in April.

 

Education: Ember: BA in Psychology, Fort Hays State University 

​

Testimony: 

Jordon: I grew up in the church and knew at a very young age I wanted to tell everyone one around the world about Jesus. For most of my young life I was just a church goer. In college I experienced God and began a transformed and obedient life with Christ. Now I couldn’t imagine my life without Christ.

​

Ember: I grew up in the church and have been a believer ever since I can remember. However it wasn’t until the summer after my senior year of high school, while on a trip with my youth group, that I truly surrendered my life fully to Him and began an intimate relationship with Him. 

​

Hope for Covenant Church:

Jordon: My hope for Covenant Church is for this to be a safe place for broken people to come feel welcomed and loved and find God’s redemptive plan in their life here.

 

Ember: My hope for Covenant Church is that it would truly be a redemptive community and a family of believers that live together in unity as we serve The Lord together. My hope is that we can create a space and provide an environment for the youth and young adults to be able to experience Jesus, and begin their own personal relationship with Him. That they would feel equipped and empowered in their faith, truly taste and see The Lord's goodness and choose to live their lives fully for Him.

Jordon: 1 Timothy 6:11-12

But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Ember: Ephesians 3:20

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.

 

2 Fun Facts: 

Jordon:  I love making things with my hands, including remodeling and woodworking. I love to play any sport.

Ember:  I love all things outdoors and adventure. My husband Jordon  and I lived in Uganda, East Africa for two years.
